I support the idea of shooting them in the knees then putting them in the middle of the desert ... with pissed off and very hungry wolves and or pitbulls.

I kinda like the way George Carlin talked about once. Get creative.
Cover a guy's head with a burlap sack. In that sack, there should be a snake, a monkey, and a dog.
"And whatever the snake does will involve pain, and its teeth. You'd better be prayin' that the snake bites the monkey and the dog eats the snake. Then it's just you and the dog. Man and his best friend, drowning together. Maybe you could teach him a few tricks. Roll over and play dead wouldn't be too hard."

I think that the death penalty is a necessary part of society....but I think that trying to make it as "humane" as possible is crap...personally, I think the criminal should die in the same way he killed....
