What teams did you construct whilst playing the games, or what team are you working on if you're still playing?

Donald and I recently found that taking Pokemon to a debate tournament is probably the best way to pass downtime.

I'm looking at training the following at the moment:

Heracross
Umbreon
Vaporeon
Ampharos
Alakazam
Skarmory

I'm undecided on Umbreon to be honest. It's great defensively, but I may have screwed up the moveset strategically. We shall see.

Gosh Darn it, no matter what I try to do, my Eevee is flatly refusing to evolve into an Espeon.

Don't You have to get her to evolve at a certain time of day or night? And is there not a stone for her?

Nope, no stone for Espeon. You have to evolve Eevee during the day for that to happen.

What version are you playing on?

If it's a game that has the day/night cycles (gold/silver/crystal or diamond/pearl/platinum) you need to raise its happiness to the max and then raise it it one level. If it's somewhere between 4am and 6pm (or 8pm in platinum) game-time it will evolve into Espeon (at the other times it evolves into Umbreon).

Yeah and Ben's cartridge is dying so his clock is starting to screw up. I think that's his problem trying to get Eevee to evolve.

Ah ok ya I couldn't remember if there was a stone or not. And uh oh Ben you better figure out a way to get that to work ha.

I am about to take on the Elite Four in Crystal. After that...I shall begin the true foundational beginnings of my ultimate team.
