Movies that you can't wait to see
First topic message reminder :
What are some movies that you just cannot WAIT to see right now.
For me, I cannot wait to see the Dark Knight, it looks amazing, incredible, Heath Ledger... I still cannot believe how he died...but this movie looks like it will be remarkable. I also want to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
What are some movies that you are rabid to see?

I sort of want to see Johnny Depp in Public Enemies.

Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
I know, I'm really excited for that movie. Johnny Depp has played all of his roles very well, and from the previews, this movie looks to share the element of his adaptation.
Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
oh! speaking of Johnny Depp, I also would like to see Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland coming in 2010.

Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
Public Enemies is one of my favorite movies of the year. Depp is great as usual. Marion Cotillard blew me away in it as well. She's definitely the breakout star in this. Christian Bale, however, just isn't up to par in this. He's acting is just really bland and boring. The movie does move slow at times (especially when Depp is off screen for a while). Also, it does have quite a lot historical inaccuracies that I noticed. Mostly the time line of deaths. But enough about the bad. The story is very compelling and keeps your attention the majority of the time. The way the movie looks is amazing. Something I've never seen before. The HD look set during the early 30's is very interesting. Michael Mann is one of my favorite director's and this is another on the list of his films that I enjoy. Definitely recommend it.

Man, I'm really trying not to get my hopes up for the next harry potter movie, but it's looking really solid.

Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
I've actually heard that it wasn't that great, but sometimes movies reviewed badly by critics are still very enjoyable to most people.
Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
Yeah, I wanted to see that movie when I first saw the trailer for it.

Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
I'm going to see HBP tonight, so we'll see how they did this time around. Don't know if I'm excited or not.
Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
I really want to see I Love You, Philip Morris. Simply put, this is probably Jim Carrey's most daring roles and the story is controversial enough. It isn't doing so well in the box office, but I think it looks really great.

True Grit looks great, Jeff Bridges always brings the goods.

Mason, you and I basically have the same exact list minus the spiderman reboot. I was just too disappointed by the last few.

Yeah, I can see why you feel that way about the reboot. But I am looking for the best, and I hope, HOPE, that this reboot will be amazing.

Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
The reboot seems to be shaping up pretty well. Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Fields, Dennis Leary, seems promising to me.
Re: Movies that you can't wait to see
Who is the villain in the reboot again? Isn't it the Lizard?
