What would you make of these lyrics.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man
Is either a fool or a coward
Whoever can not take care of himself without that law is both
For a wounded man shall say to his assailent
If i live i will kill you
If i die you are forgiven
Such is the rule of honor...
New rule to live by?
Totally badass?
or...
for those other people...
Evil?
Is either a fool or a coward
Whoever can not take care of himself without that law is both
For a wounded man shall say to his assailent
If i live i will kill you
If i die you are forgiven

It's actually:
"If I die, you are forgiven
If I live, I will kill you,
and such is the rule of life."
And I don't care much for it as far as living by it goes, because it's kind of promoting murder. "Kill me and nothing happens, let me live and I kill you."
Re: What would you make of these lyrics.
No its not, I have the song right here (referring to itunes) and it is correct.
Its more of a survival of the fittest idea.

Well, the live version says different. Still....survival of the fittest is one of the worst ways to live life.

OMERTA
I loved this song when I was addicted to Lamb Of God.
Cool saying, but not one to live by in this age, although honor is always important.

Fitter is not always better. Brains over brawn, etc. Give two guys a gun, set one on each end of a forest, let them go at each other. The smarter one will live.
