Place of Relaxation
After a long and trying day, where do you go to relax, or let it all out?, or do you even have a place like this?
Re: Place of Relaxation
I go to my room and read for a while and listen to music. It is surprising at how much reading can get your mind off of real life.
Re: Place of Relaxation
Yeah I go to my room too

Re: Place of Relaxation
I just chill in front of the computer.
But there are some places outside that are just amazing to go and forget about life. One of my best friends and I spent a day walking along an abandoned private road that was right on the water, it was just really nice, secluded, and beautiful (don't worry, this was, indeed, a female friend, haha).
I guess that's one great thing about living in the middle of nowhere...there are so many great places to go and get away, and for me, it's SO NICE to get away from SCREAMING parents and a whiny sibling, haha.

Re: Place of Relaxation
Something I like to do when I am really stressed out is take my sister's cell phone and go outside on our swing and talk to my best friend.
Re: Place of Relaxation
I go to the top of a hill then scream all my anger out then at night I lay down and look up at the stars and admire the scenery...yeah it is very calming...trust me it is.

Re: Place of Relaxation
I just walk to the nearest park, lay down on one of the slides or by a tree and listen to some soft jazz or some techno, maybe some Pantera or Slipknot if I had a bad day.
Re: Place of Relaxation
I go into my treehouse, my treehouse is amazing to say the least, It has a TV, Fridge, Microwave, AC, Wii, and can sleep 3 comfortably.
Re: Place of Relaxation
Awesome treehouse. I wish I had something like that.

Re: Place of Relaxation
My aunt used to have a tree house. Not nearly as amazing as yours, but it was pretty cool. I remember that when I was a kid I was always scared to go up there and then when I actually got to the age that I wouldn't freak out over it she took it down.

Count me in as one of the three?
You know deep down inside that you really want to
Re: Place of Relaxation
I would say my room. It's really the only place in my house where I can get some peace and quiet.
Re: Place of Relaxation
I don't really have a place of retreat. The most likely place is my room, but I don't really go in there to do anything but sleep.

You could always go to the cheese fries place.
I'm sure that's relaxing
Re: Place of Relaxation
I'd rather bring it home than be there. I guess home in general is my place of relaxation?

LOL. Let's rave!!!
Techno > The Best Modern-Day "dance" music. And a lot of other things!
Re: Place of Relaxation
Techno is better than Rap or Hip Hop for "dance" music, but nothing more than that.
I really don't like it, and only my hatred for Rap/Hip Hop puts it level above.

Re: Place of Relaxation
I play guitar, listen to music, or read.

Re: Place of Relaxation
I don't think I'd go to my room.... it's not relaxing. I can't be anywhere inside, the lines! so many straight lines. on the walls, desks, chairs, it's overwhelming.
I go ride my bicycle really fast to make everything seem like a blur. it's harmless alcohol.
