Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I met this artist on DeviantArt, with whom I've been corresponding with. She lives in France, so I get a chance to work on my French, and she ... I don't know, I guess she just deals with it xD
Anyway, I've enjoyed using this as an experience to help further myself in French (high school French sucked, but this is fun xD )
Anyone talk to anyone else anywhere in the world?
I've also got a friend in China, but I don't talk to her very often, unfortunately.
And I don't know Chinese, anyway. Good thing she knows English xD

Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
The only pen pal I've had was from a school a few miles away, and I don't think he liked me much. It was either 3rd or 4th grade.
Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I had a pen pal back in second grade named Nick, who lived in Massacheusets. I don't know what ever happened to him.

Lol, my story's much the same (: She yelled at my once in a letter... It was sad-making... ):
Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I've had multiple occasions which I could had had a pen pal, but I'm not terribly consistent. I could have written to friends in India, China, South Korea, and Canada.
I would prefer to actually GO to the place, rather than experiencing it from a monthly letter.

Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
My mother had a pen pal throughout high school who was from Argentina.
They kept in contact with each other long after highschool, and my moms pen pal actually had a son two months after my mom gave birth to me.
And what's cool, I just conversed with the son of my mom's pen pal (His name is Gonzolo) about two weeks ago, and it was an incredibly interesting conversation.

Ben. That's AWESOME.
I'm so jealous, lol. It's so cool how that worked out!
Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
Yeah tyler, it was an incredible conversation! I'm really hoping we continue to communicate!
Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I have internet buddies in so many places you could possibly think of.
I'll listen the countries, at least that I can remember
(Btw I spend all my time on the computer at night so this is how I converse with these people, due to time zones)
Canada
Scotland
Ireland
England
Wales
Norway
Denmark
Sweden
Finland
Belgium
Austria
Germany
France
Portugal
Morroco
South Africa
Hong Kong
Malaysia
Indonesia
Romania
Italy
Egypt
Mexico
Brazil
Ecuador
Venezuala
Chile
Trinidad and Tobago
South Korea
Indonesia
Australia
India
Pakistan (Yes, there are non corrupt places in Pakistan)
Israel
Columbia
Netherlands
That's all I can think of. When you people as many people as I have from other places in the world it really..broadens your perspective I think.

Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I now remember I used to have a pen pal from New Zealand, named "Teelo". I don't know if that's his real name or not, but he's kinda turned douchebaggy on me.

Re: Foreign "Pen Pals?"
I've talked to people all over the world as well, it's really interesting to compare the likenesses of them with your actual friends and how they react to certain aspects of conversation. It's very educational.
