The Herald
So I stole this idea from the late SolidSnake Designs forum. They used to have a monthly newsletter that focused on forum updates and reviews of albums, movies, games, books etc. written by some of the members there. I thought maybe TG could do something like this. I've seen some of the members here are heavily into debate, music, and whatnot, so I think we would have a strong newsletter on our hands if we ever decided to make one.

Re: The Herald
I like this idea quite a bit. I'm thinking it should be something we implement to sustain interest during the school year.
Re: The Herald
Well, from what I see I could write a review over a video game, Brad can do a movie review, Ben can write a book review, Connor, you can do a brutal music review. There's a ton of topics out there we can cover.

Re: The Herald
Well you can do some too.
EDIT: We have to give the newsletter a snazzy name, since The Herald is already taken. Anybody have any thoughts?

Re: The Herald
True, that is a little redundant. Maybe we should throw out some other names then make a poll to see which one the people like best? So far: TG Tribune, Different Wavelengths. I don't have any ideas for a name.
Also, we have the following topics:
Site News/Updates
Music Review
Books Review
Video Game Review
Movie Review
What else is there that we could cover?

Re: The Herald
I probally wouldn't be able to write anything until I get my new computer in a week...so if you're going to start writing right away you can start with out me. Although I realize I'm probally not very vital to music reviews because most people only listen to metal here lol

Re: The Herald
How about we just call it 'The Tribune', so we don't have to deal with that The TG Tribune redundancy nonsense?

Re: The Herald
I'm not a big fan of the name Tribune, I actually prefer The Herald to that. But if majority perfers Tribune it's fine.

Re: The Herald
I'd rather not use a name already taken by the site who we got the idea from...
If you have something to suggest, go for it. The name isn't settled yet.
