What's the point when nearly everyone has access to a webcam, email, etc?

It's also easier to track.

One who texts dirty pictures to someone is more likely to get caught than using a webcam, or actually mooning/flashing someone in real life. There's just more evidence, and it's harder to get rid of.

I think it's fair dumb but it's how young pre teen kids experiment with sex for the first time these days. I don't agree with the consequence for minors though - if you are caught in posession of nudes of yourself or anyone else you are automatically put on a sex offender list..IF IT IS A MINOR I think that is a bit too harsh. If it were a legal adult and an underaged individual THEN I see the sex offender label, but if it is consensual between two adults I don't think there should be any consequence and if it's between two kids they should be reprimanded by authorities and told how wrong it is and what the consequences would be if they were adults.

We've all had a few sexting slip ups in our lives. Nothing to be embarrassed about.

Back on topic, it is said that many of these sexters (don't laugh,
i couldn't come up with anything else.) are usually low on self esteem,
and look for the aproval of other teens by sending "naughty" pictures.
I am proud to say that I have never in my young life sexted or
whatever its called.

Yeah, sadly that's generally the case, usually the person doesn't know any other way to feel "good" about themselves.

Ya its kinda a bummer. Its also leads to alot of porblems in places such as highschool because of all the groups and bullying that happens.

Yes I agree seeing as how he has announced it then he must tell us while and after it has happened and all the went on through this time. Well to a certain level no uploading of sexting pictures.
