Becoming Self Aware
As self awareness dwindles, our minds lay dormant and disintegrate. No longer are we aware of our own hypocrisy, our deviation from the intricacies of our own minds. How much longer can we play the victim? At what point do we assume the position of control and begin to alter our lifestyles and mindsets accordingly? The appropriate time is nigh, but we are not aware. Mankind walks straddling the edge of ultimate demise, and continued throughout this life our minds will eventually fail us. There will come a point of selective occurrences and we will ask ourselves, where did it go wrong? It all began at the close; the closing of minds initiating the opening for systematic and orderly corruption.
The mind can often be sly and conniving, but it is our own fault if we do not believe in change.

Does lack of awareness cease with the individual? In fact, with each of us living in this way we are multiplying our spiraling defeat. Closed minds lead to things like law instead of justice. We are so wrapped up in our own corrupt, false ideals that a man alone fighting to his death won't even make a dent.
It isn't just the ones who are closed who destroy themselves; they also take with them the ones who stand against the colossal, mechanical, twisted idea that has whirled out of our control and is growing larger all the time.
It began at the close. this is an interesting paradoxical truth.

Well, closed minds always tend to never ask questions about certain experiences. The never imagine any other possibility than the one thats placed in front of he/she.
It is for that reason why individuals conform to what's easy, never asking what's right or wrong. But conforming to what is conveneit and cool even it if means sacrificing the spirit of another individual on the way.
It's how dystopian societies began. Taylor's post was extremely similar to Ayn Rand's novella, Anthem, and I would recommend anyone to read it if they have the time.

I'm not a fan of all of Ayn Rand's political philosiphies but I did enjoy Anthem and reccomend it to everybody as well.
Lack of awareness is a conscious decision for many. From what I've observed people fear doubting the easy answers they've been spoon fed through religion and society.
