When a new truth occurs, it is it's own evidence. Digging through the dry bones of past thinking is not the only way to verify the veracity of current truth. Compare new truths to those of the past and decide which persist and which are no longer true. ~Kevin Honeycutt

I think previously discovered truths are the basis of many new truths, so they are never truly negated. This is not true for all of them, but consideration of the evidence they present is clearly necessitated as more and more of them surface.
