The new stuff or the old stuff?
Do you like new entertainment (movies, games, music, etc), or the oldies? I personally like some of both, but it's a lot easier (IMO) to find fresh movies and games with new ideas if you look at the older titles.
What do you think? Old or new?

I'm preferable to older music, but I can think of more then a few movies I like from each decade. Games have definitely been awesome lately though.
Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
New everything for me. New movies have better budgets, special effects, etc (CG is astounding). New music generally gets better (I never was into older stuff. The oldest I'll ever go is Pantera or Metallica), new games are just getting more and more advanced with better graphics, AI, multiplayer support, and just overall wow factors.
But as for old...older movies had some good plot lines and good themes (not just sex, violence, etc)
Older music (at least older popular music) can totally blow today's 'music' out of the water (I'm talking about the stuff that everyone is infatuated with that consists of nothing more than obnoxious bass and a guy talking vulgar slang into a mic)
Old games had some good stuff. Metal Gear Solid for PS1 was amazing, and of course there are the classics like Donkey Kong and stuff. Let's not forget Doom at the start of the FPS revolution, lol.
If you guys have ever heard of it, there's an AP Lit Term (I can't remember it now though, silly me. Maybe intertextuality but I seriously have no clue) that states that there are only six stories or something like that in the world, and each novel/movie/etc is simply telling one of the stories in a different way. It's pretty interesting really.

Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I prefer modern to old school, but there are a few oldies that I really enjoy.
Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I love the older music, back when Rock-Roll met something, I wish I could have experienced those times.
Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I perfer a mix of both to be honest.

Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I like a lot of the newer music but there is also some of the older music that I like and same goes for movies and games
Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I like more older music than new, more newer movies than old, somewhere in the middle with games.

Re: The new stuff or the old stuff?
I think the older movies are better but they are easier to get in modern times.
