A burn victim fully recovers in just days after receiving sprays from a stem cell gun.

This just shows why stem cell research needs to be done.

Can someone remind me why people are actually against this?

This is incredible. I respect and somewhat understand why some people are against stem cell research... but there are so many incredible possibilities. I agree, it needs to be done. It allows doctors to take amazing strides in health and medicine, and people need to recognize the benefits. I think most (not all) people who are against stem cell research don't truly understand it.

Now that scientists are finding ways to use non-embryonic stem cells with properties similar in value to embryonic stem cells, hopefully fewer people will be so actively against it.

I think this is absolutely astonishing as well. It is definitely time that we begin to recognize the full potential of this research and begin promoting it as actively as possible. I agree with Molly - there is a true lack of understanding from those who do not necessarily support or remain ignorant to its capabilities.

It angers me when individuals are blindly against stem cell research because of the depths of their own ignorance. There are many people who ignore the potential of stem cells because of they have no knowledge of non-embryonic stem cells. The use of stem cells were set back by eight years the Bush Administration eviscerated funding for EVERY kind of stem cell research. It is my hope that these incredible medical discoveries will prevent such unsophisticated decisions from happening in the future.

This is amazing.. I cant believe it worked in just four days. Thats remarkable. It didn't even looked touched by any fire. Looks like I know where i'm going if i'm ever a burn victim. And ya we ave much more to learn and benefit from when it comes to using stem cells and further research on it. I don't know alot about it but I also so far haven't seen anything really wrong with it.

Gosh, just imagine how far medical technology may advance when further discoveries of Stem Cells are made.

Ya it could me the next major cure of cancer or even somehow aids. Who's to say that you could go in and replace cancer cells with stem cells.. or something idk but im sure its going to lead somewhere big.

What's amazing is that Stem Cells have already cured a few cases of HIV, if they find a cure for cancer, wow, it would just show how far we have come as a society.

Really thats so amazing. So whats behind the purpose of trying to get rid of it?
