What an AWESOME thread! Thanks for doing this, I enjoyed it so much. Very hard to choose, but I picked two Tom Pettys and the Don Henley song that has always been one of my favorites.

Ooh..Good year, but, I love Free Fallin', I give that one a listen after a bad break-up, I then picked End of an innocence and that replacements song.

Re: Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Tourney-1989
21 votes! Thank you!
I don't think I put an end to this years poll, my bad if I didn't. So I will declare an an end to the poll of 1989.
The songs qualifying:
1st:
"I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty-6 votes, 28%
2nd:
"Free Fallin'" by Tom Petty-5 votes, 23%
"Runnin' Down A Dream" by Tom Petty-5 votes, 23%
3rd:
"The End of the Innocence" by Don Henley-3 votes, 14%
Later today will be 1990! I would like to see this voting cross over to the next poll!
