Anybody a Writer here?

If so, what kinds of writing do you do? what inspires you to write, and, what is the best thing you have ever written, I shall post one of my favorite things I have written here soon.

I've written a couple short stories, and poems before. I think I still have the poems around, which I may post sometime.

I'm good at writing some lyrics but mostly poetry...I know that's not manly but hey I'm pretty good at it.

Haha. Well poetry is anyone's game. Shouldn't be considered a feminine thing.

lol, I do love writing. I've written short stories, plenty of essays, a handful of poems (Yes, I love poetry and YES, I'm male :p), and some lyrics that I may put to music later. I really enjoy writing love stuff, but I've had nooo inspiration in like a year (haha, I guess I'm a lonely guy). The last stuff I've written has either been biological and scientific for discussion (I'm such a dork, lol) or something brutal when I was furious at the parental units. Some of it kinda scares me, looking back at it, hahaha. I may post later, we'll see :p

I don't write a lot but I have written a few things in the past for school. I like writing poetry a lot though.

I need some ideas to write a story. I might like to write something but I don't know what on.

You'll get inspiration from life itself. You could write about anything! . Use your words to channel your emotions and you'll have something cool in no time

Something I wrote about a year ago for a project...

There are shoes for every reason
There are shoes for every season
There are shoes that come with lace
There are shoes to win a race

There are shoes that I deposit
Somewhere deep inside my closet
There are shoes for every reason
I think shoes are very pleasin'


And something else I wrote for a project...

The platypus a funny name
Though she is not the one to blame
Lays eggs inside a grassy nest
To be a mama is her quest

She gives them milk and barricades
The hole to stop their escapades
Till it is time for them to swim
In platypuses' water gym

lol, I like that platypus one...it's cute.

I write love poetry, rants, I've done PART of a story...never finished it, and I do this little fake diary thing every once in a while. I get my inspiration from overused emotions.[Hate, Love, etc.] The best thing I've ever written (in my opinion) was something my friend(that I liked at the time) requested to give to her boyfriend. She actually did the first one or two lines and asked me to finish it. It was pretty tough, but I was contented with the result.

I'll find it and post it within the...week.

I was going to do an entire piece on the solar system, but I never actually finished.

Of a million, billion stars
The others so pale at her array,
The Rose in a bouquet

writing is my outlet. some things I write are good and others are horribly bad. but i consider those the "seasons" and time changes all.

I keep a diary simply for future use. i write down my thoughts and opinions and put every emotion into it I have and leave nothing out. then later I look to it for a mood for a character that I am not currently feeling. it gives me a sense of that emotion, and I am often amazed, "did I really THINK that?"

it's a passion. deep-rooted passion.

I've been writing a LOT lately. My inspiration is The Acacia Strain and just how BRUTAL their lyrics are. I may compile something and put it together sometime...actually, I'm going to give my ex theory teacher an email asking about good scale patterns
