Any gamers out there? I have a serious addiction, haha. I've got a lot of consoles (I won't bother listing them). I just beat Army Of Two (Decent game), and I'm reallllyyy looking forward to Gears Of War 2 (Gears Of War is still probably my favorite game, haha). Any future releases you guys are looking forward to? Other than Gears Of War 2, I can't wait for Far Cry 2. Oh, and the next Crysis game looks pretty rad too, haha

I'll stop rambling :p

I've never been a huge gamer. It's just always been something to do out of boredom, not serious intent.

Seriously, it's one of the only games I am exclusive about.

Rape_VicTem wrote:YAY! NEW FRIEND. YOU. Do you do any pc gaming? Like, games by steam or anything?

lol, steam is ok, but I love Epic. I do play on PC, but I have a poor internet connection (512/512). I like Crysis, Gears Of War and I struggled to play Battlefield 2142 online for a while. Whenever I'm with my friend, Scotty, I play Halo 3, and my team has won a few tournaments, but nothing huge. Overall, it's pretty cool.

My current graphics card is the Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB PCIe card. I got it about a year ago, and it's not bad. My desktop only has one PCIe port though, so that's pretty lame. Oh well, I'll upgrade again later.

I'll have to check into The Orange Box sometime. It looked promising. I really enjoyed Half Life 2.

hit me up on myspace, facebook, and/or aim sometime, haha. If I'm ever around a good internet connection, we'll game it up, but I really don't see that happening anytime soon.

Not impressed by the Wii.

Halo is good for multiplay...usually. I was disappointed with 3 though.

Tom Clancy stuff is decent. I wanna play Vegas 2.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent was very good, it surpassed my expectations.

Wii games are incredibly fun, but I'm not fond of the controller. Anytime I play one of the games I hope that it adapts to the GC controller.

What's your playstyle?

Rifle/Submachine guns/Machine guns/Sniper?

I fool around with the sniper if I get the chance, but I dig the semi-auto rifles and select SMGs as well.

Well I am a beast of a sniper Smile

But I like to go using the support kit as well.

Especially in the bridge on Eder Dam, haha they just file one after another.

Sometimes I chose medic and pick up the the SMG....then I can rack up some points aha

Wow, that's pretty rad. You familiar with the Battlefield Games? 2142 had my attention for quite some time. I made it to Chief Petty Officer Silver on a 512k connection (uber pain). I was a medic to rack up points, then went sniper. Sniper is my first choice, but sometimes ripping around with the L-AR or H-AR was just fun Smile

I should get BF: Bad Company sometime soon, but idk. I was bummed that it wasn't out for PC. I prefer PC gaming for FPS. Maybe I'll get back on 2142 and hope I don't lag to death, haha (I need faster net!)

I think my brothers actually do have Battlefield...I just have yet to play it.

Is it any goo? I am guessing since you played it and want the other one.

Medic is always fun Smile

I really detest when people get on there and play medic, but just to unlock achievements by continuously killing teammates, and then reviving them. I would rather they let me die...instead of being stuck in an unending chain of death. Silly immature children!

Naw, it was set up better than that. Killing a teammate is -2 and reviving them is only +1 or something.

2142 is for PC, and it's pretty rad. BF: Bad Company i've played the demo for, and it seems pretty good (fairly destructible environments and such), but Red Faction III is going to pwn face for destructibility (everything is engineered so well, I can't wait to check out the game)

If you happen to have 2142 kicking around, let me know and We'll rock out in a squad Smile I'll be your spotter if you're as beastly as you say you are Very Happy

I think they were going for the revive so many poeple is a game achievement or whatever...I am not sure

but it happens often and it makes me cringe....then I have to find another game....which contains just as many teamkillers, because people do not turn the team damage off when they create games

bah

Smile

Haha, I will have to check...my brothers have like a bazillion PC games aha

And in my experience so far, I am only beastly at COD3, but a new game could be fun. Smile And maybe I could be a natural at that Smile

I have a 25% off used 360 games coupon promotion thing this week, so I may pick up GRAW or GRAW 2 of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat...any suggestions?
