DIABLO 3

What are your plans for getting/playing this game? I'm gonna rock the witch doctor.

I've never been big on the Diablo franchise.

I've never played any of the Diablos but they always look pretty cool.

What? You've never been big on Diablo? I hated the first one. But the second one was damn good. Do yourself a favor and play it some. You'll get hooked.

My brothers are complete addicts, they even had to get the Diable II expansion pack or whatever. Personally I do not see the joy in them...but then again I am a chick...so I am not big into most video/computer games.

Has anybody played Quake Wars yet? I loved Quake III but I haven't had a chance to play Quake Wars.

Never played any of the Quake games. What's the story behind them?

I had the demo for Quake Wars on PC. It didn't impress me at all. The Quake games are kinda slacking, haha. It seems as if they've passed their prime. Just go with battlefield instead. I was hooked on 2142 for a while, and BF: Bad Company looks great too.

In a nutshell, an alien group called the Strogg are invading Earth(?), taking marines and putting them through the Stroggification process to turn them into more warriors for their cause. It was one of the very first FPS ever created for PC, so it's kind of like a classic franchise that people are trying to keep alive.

You can download the demo for Quake Wars on PC for sure, and console maybe. I'm not sure. It may be up on XBL Marketplace. It's pretty much just a Battlefield wannabe, but that's just my opinion. I've got Quake I-IV. They're decent, I suppose, but I kinda preferred the Doom franchise anyway. Idk, they're both kinda meh now. Look into a newer release, it will be more worth your while.

And I've never played Diablo, but I was addicted to WoW for a while, so I figured I would stop with the MMOs before I need professional help, haha.

Ah, well that doesn't really appeal to me.

Haha, Quake was around for 5 or 6 years before Battlefield. First Red vs Blue FPS.

Yeah, I have never played Diablo either.

Diablo is based on killing the highest demon Diablo by crawling through over 90 levels of a dungeon that is filled with progressively harder enemies. You have about 8 classes to choose from in D2 and they all focus around some of the same general premise of any other rpg. Warrior-ish, rogue-ish, ranger-ish, mage-ish, and then there were a few hybrid classes that escape my memory. If I find a good screenshot, I'll post it.
