Re: Radioactive dating.
Well, Radiometric Dating (Or Radioactive, they're the same thing I guess. Kudos to Wikipedia) Seems to be the most reliable method of dating to date. (Carbon Dating was flawed) But I myself do not have any sort of reasoning on why it may be inaccurate.
Re: Radioactive dating.
Radiometric not radioactive (there is a significant difference Donald) dating is not only the most accurate but the correct way to date objects. There is more than one way to date an object though; Potassium-argon is the most widely used method of radiometric dating because it represents a large amount of pre-life rocks, such as the lava that once covered almost all of the earth. the reason we know Radiometric dating to hold true is because it is backed by mathematical evidence. Currently this type of dating is still a theory because of the new studies showing Carbon-dating to be very inaccurate, scientists are very hesitant to declare any contemporary finding such as this a Law, as with any finding, until a 100% proof after numerous tests spanning months and years have been shown and completed. As far as I know, there has been irrefutable evidence validating this theory and my very well become a Law, adding another stepping-stone out of our world of religious dissolution and into a scientifically accurate understanding of our universe.
