Kindergarten
Man, those were the days, everyone was nice, everyone was innocent! The days where you could become best friends with someone by sharing a cookie.
What were your experiences in Kindergarten?

Re: Kindergarten
First day, sweetest girl comes up to me and says "Hey...wanna be friends?". I said "Eh, sure "
We were BEST friends for two years. I moved out of the district, years later I got back in touch with some people at my old school and I asked about her...apparently she moved like a year later or something.
Bummer, man.
I still make attempts at finding her online from time to time, just for kicks. No luck :\

Re: Kindergarten
Man, Kindergarten was awesome!!! Hell, if anyone had my teacher, they'd never wana leave!!!
The room was devided into sections. Each section had a color. Each child was assigned a color. Each day, during play time, you went to your color.... Man. Every color had something fun. Blue was playing house, green was animals (There were live ones[bunnies and some type of furry rodent] and toy ones and all that), yellow was show and tell, and red was story time. It was freakin awesome!!!!!

Re: Kindergarten
I loved kindergarten. I specifically remember being fond of this girl. Unfortunately another kid was as well, and ironically enough those two kids are the admins of this site.

Re: Kindergarten
Everyone wanted to sit next to me on the bus. They'd shove their friends off the seat and yell for me to sit by them. I always sat next to this one kid (can't remember his name) who ended up becoming my first boyfriend. All I remember about him is that and the fact that he cut holes in his jeans. I could already read by the time I got to Kindergarten and amazed the crap out of my teacher. Snack time was awful, though, because it was always graham crackers. I remember, also, that I got mad at one of the computers there and beat up the mouse. The teacher wasn't very happy about that...

Ah man, those were the days, weren't we chasing her trying to kiss her before the other did? or something like that? I remember Mrs Bryan got pretty mad about that..haha.
Re: Kindergarten
Kindergarten. I don't remember much. I really don't remember that much about anything pre-1st grade. I went to a private school so we had church every Tuesday. I didn't learn to read until first grade, so I remember my reading buddy reading to me, he was awesome, I adored him. Then I would go home at noon and watch "My Favorite Martian" (my then favorite movie), while snacking on onion flakes.

Re: Kindergarten
I was an angry child. I mean, I've mellowed out a LOT now, but as a kid I was boiling with anguish inside. Ironically, I was a BIG talker as a baby, then ended up quiet and sullen as a child.
I was always mad at my mother because she made me go to the all-day kindergarten when so many of the other children only did the morning or afternoon. She was always mentioning "character" and "discipline" but a heck of a lot good that did.
I don't think I have much character now to show for it. stupid kindergarten.

Re: Kindergarten
There was this kid I knew when I was in kindergarten and he would always tell my sister I was saying bad words. Then my sister would tell my mom and I would get grounded. I hated that kid. He ended up dating my best friend, though, so I had to pretend I could tolerate him and occupy myself with images of him getting hit by a train...

Sometimes it's not worth pretending, haha.
Has he at least grown up now?

Re: Kindergarten
With the way most people are these days...it's kinda hard NOT to date one of your friends' best friends. That is, unless you date some random stranger.
