Sketches
I may be slightly alone in this category, but if anyone has some sketches that they would like to show off, go for it! I'll only post one or two of my favorites for now. I've got an online album on my myspace that you guys should be able to view here with 12 sketches, with more that I'll scan in later (You know...sometime after I sketch them, haha).
Here's a project of Cloud Strife that I did in my Sophomore Year
And here's a picture of a Berserker that I did in my Freshman Year.

Re: Sketches
Those are good, man. I prefer the detail on the berserker as opposed to the other, but they're both good.
Re: Sketches
Thanks
I wasn't really feeling the Cloud until the end of the project. We had a weird line pattern to follow for doing it, and I wasn't a big fan, haha.

Re: Sketches
lol, thank you very much
It's definitely a skill that you need to learn to use accurately. I wouldn't be that great at all if it weren't for my teacher
besides, I didn't have anything better to do, haha.

Re: Sketches
hehehe, I love these sketches!!
I'll have to dig out some of mine. I don't draw a LOT, but I have a handful.

Thank you I can't wait to check your work out I love looking at other people's work for other techniques and stuff. I wasn't really GOOD until an older friend of mine said "It looks good, Sparky...but SMEAR THE HELL OUT OF IT!"
Re: Sketches
Here's a rough sketch that I plan to turn into a two-part painting whenever I get my canvases stretched
This was inspired by Amplexus, specifically the line "I swear I felt the Earth move, do we still exist?"
Re: Sketches
I really like that one, it has this certain vibe to it. I'm sure it'll be a great painting.
