Dubstep Empty Dubstep

Post by Cjanz Mon Jan 03, 2011 6:20 pm

I'm probably gonna receive some flack for posting this, but I actually think dubstep is a pretty cool genre of music. It has what techno seems to lack for me which is an added mixture of breakbeat, percussion, and is seemingly more atmospheric.

Here are some artists who do it well:

Big Chocolate

NiT GriT

I like Dubstep for the most part. Although, it can get a little too repetitive at times.

Brad knows my stance on Dubstep. All I can say is I am not a fan. I prefer House if I was going to listen to any type of Techno.

I'm not a big fan of it honestly. It just sounds too repetitive and annoying to me. I've honestly tried to get into it but I just can't. Sad

I didn't like it at all when I heard it for the first time. My tastes have opened up a lot more lately, and for some reason it appeals more now. Who knows..

I like Bassnectar, Nit Grit, and Big Chocolate's stuff. Not really huge into the genre, but of those artists I really enjoy it.
