Pretty sure (though it may be a great album) that Kanye doesn't really deserve #1. Do you agree with that, Jake?
Glad to see Agalloch on there, Marrow of the Spirit was a wonderful release. Not so sure about Immolation, they seem to have lost steam over the last few years. Triptykon should be higher by at least 10 places in my opinion. That album was monumental.
Re: RYM's Top 50 Albums of 2010
I'm guessing I wouldn't put it as the best album of 2010 but I need to hear more albums from this year before I can decide.

7th Symphony by Apocalyptica should be up there.
It is pleasant to see Enslaved up there, though. (Especially at #5.)

Enslaved are wonderful. Vertebrae is a great album, and I love RUUN and Below the Lights.
After listening to Marrow of the Spirit again, though, I conclude that it should not be bested by Kanye's album.

I would really like to hear The National's High Violet, Arcade Fire's the Suburbs and Grinderman's Grinderman 2

ctrl+f: jónsi
This list is rubbish. Jonsi isn't even on the list? Realy?!?! Other places are rating it as #1 or in the top 5...seems a bit off.

RYM has a tendency to not follow the grain for some reason.

Plus, it's always based on popularity amongst users so it may not be getting much recognition.

Yeah turns out it's ranked 180 for 2010 at the moment but these lists aren't final. It may move up in the coming years.
