Wisconsin
I want to find out your guys' opinions on the events that have unfolded in Wisconsin. What kind of effects could passing a bill that, among other things, limits collective bargaining for teachers do for the state? and have the democrats chosen the most responsible approach in their fleeing of Wisconsin to prevent a vote from taking place?
I definitely believe that the protesters have every right to advocate killing a bill that seems like a direct hit to middle-class families, but Republicans argue that this bill is required to balance the budget. aren't there other less important things they could cut? And why hasn't anyone sat down to talk with each other about this obviously hot issue?
