Re: Best State in The USA?
I would say that for me, it just has to be Colorado. There is no state I've enjoyed seeing as much as that one, especially when driving through it.
Re: Best State in The USA?
Colorado is beautiful. But I still have to say New York is probably the most beautiful place I've been. Probably because it's such a contrast to where I live. Here you can pretty much turn 360 degrees and see nothing, but there there's always a giant building staring down at you.
Re: Best State in The USA?
I felt that way while I was in California, except there it's more a combination of buildings, palm trees, mountains, and ocean. Pretty great.

Probably California? You have your big metropolises and then your country side.

I'd have to disagree. Some of that countryside is utterly bland and unbearable to drive through. It's more boring to drive through than Kansas.

South Dakota. Its chalked full of mountains, trees, and rich Native American culture (me being half Native American myself). Its good stuff.

South Dakota is pretty sweet, it varies a bunch too, I miss living there. I really enjoyed Idaho when I went there last winter. Utah was pretty chill too. I'd take any of those over Kansas...I enjoy winter too.

Re: Best State in The USA?
I believe Colorado is one of the most beautiful states I've been to, and I find myself being less impressed with many states the more I travel. Makes Kansas look pretty good, and there's something to be said for the rolling green pastures and the flint hills.
I won't mind getting out of here, but it's not such an eyesore.

Alot of people believe Kansas is dumb and flat. But the flint hills like con, put it are very amazing to look at! And we do have one of the best farm lands in the U.S.

Re: Best State in The USA?
I personally think California might be the best travel option because the state literally harnesses many of the things you can find in other states. Oceans, lakes, skiing, mountains, hills, flatland, farmland, shopping district, entertainment, 420 shops, rich cultural identity, preservation land, camping, hiking. anything else I'm missing?
