Going Down

Going Down

Post by ZIMMER1994 on Tue Mar 01, 2011 4:42 pm

another poem for all of you, this one is a couple months old, and I had almost forgotten it. After having found it folded up so small and stuffed into my couch cushions, I opened it up today, read through it, and I have decided it deserves to see the light of day. I hope that you enjoy it and that it might hold some meaning for you in your life.

Going Down

Downward spiral
Pilot signals
I'm going down down down
So don't scream when I
Hit the Ground

Chaos follows
Oh such sorrow
We're going down down down
Just don't cry when we
Hit the Ground

Sounds like trouble
Grab the shovels
They're going down down down
Be ready when they
Hit the Ground

Don't stop trying
Just keep steady
You're going down down down
But I know you won't
Hit the Ground.

This sounds very lyrical, and though I'm not really into catchy repetition, I like the theme you chose. Good job!
