Meh, the problem is that sex doesn't come with a rulebook or a guideline. The only thing we know for fact is that sex is for reproductive purposes. So people can use sex in any way they want, fun, love, pleasure, or whatever. Because there are basically no set rules against the use of sex, just rules based off relief.


I could care less if someone is off having sex everynight just to have fun. It is their personal choice. I want my sex to have value, or by shared with someone I love. But that is my personal choice, it can be their personal choice to have sex for fun.

Sex was made to reproduce not just fool around for personal pleasure. I understand yes that it is there personal choice but then again I think there is a definite line that should never be crossed.

I have a differing view. Scientifically it is indeed for reproduction, but the brain is also made to associate the release of dopamine to a pleasure-inducing and addictive activity. I think where our emotions come in, sex plays an integral role in making the connection of love. I don't think the brain makes the same connections with frivolity and lust. I think it's just an addiction at that point, which outlines some of the benefits in waiting until you're with a real partner.

Ok, as a female, I'm gonna add my two cents... I don't really see anything wrong with your normal, average, run-of-the-mill porn. Of course there are extremes that I think are disgusting and creepy (like tentacle rape... *shudder*), but for the most part I don't really see anything wrong with it. In fact, I will own up to it right now and say I watch porn sometimes, and I very very rarely find it offensive. I think most guys that watch porn (I suppose I could just have said "most guys") are intelligent enough to realize that porn is not real life. There are a lot of guys I have actually talked about porn with, and not one of them is some horrible misogynistic man-whore. They are all nice, intelligent, respectful people.

I agree some people become addicted and take it to the extreme, and obviously that is not acceptable. But you could say that about anyone. Some people get addicted to cake and eat so much that they get overweight and unhealthy, but most people are just gonna have a piece of cake every once and a while and be completely fine.
