Nuclear Energy Empty Nuclear Energy

Post by somedeadidiot Thu Nov 13, 2008 10:35 pm

October's PFD Topic.

Resolved: The United States should substantially increase its use in nuclear energy.

Man, that was a fun month. The teacher kept getting after people for saying nukular.

This is actually a really fun topic. Should we or should we not increase our use of nuclear power?

Some ideas:

Pro- This means less coal use, cleaner air, etc.

Con- More plants, more terrorist threats.

I would say yes for the mean time, but I really want to tap into the energy sources mentioned in Esoteric Agenda. Geothermal, Tidal, etc.
