The Sims 2 Empty The Sims 2

Post by little.miss.sunny Sun Aug 03, 2008 5:39 pm

I am a crazed fan of The Sims 2 and it's wonderful expansion packs. I play the sims when I'm not even on the computer by making floorplans and spending hours combing baby name books for the perfect names for my sims. Just wondering if anyone else like the game as much as I do (if that's even possible).

Post by Spishnittlestick Sun Aug 03, 2008 6:28 pm

Not a bit, haha. I don't know why I would want to run a simulation life when I can run a life of my own. If I'm going to be someone else virtually, that someone else is going to be splitting your skull with the .50 :p

My ex was crazy into the sims though, and my sister likes it as well. I don't see a problem with it at all, but it's not for me, that's for sure, lol.

oh! yes, I like this game as well. However, I more enjoy ruining their lives.

Idk... I think it's fun to name them after people I hate and then make them sloppy, unemployed, and completely alone. I feel POWERFUL. haha.

The language is very original. I have a feeling it's just English with reverse playback, but still, it's amusing to listen to them.

It actually is English in reverse or something along those lines. I ran into a guy a while back who was a big techo-freak and he happened to play Sims. He recorded some of the stuff then played it backwards and it sounded normal... So he said. The only proof I got was an .MP3 file with the recording playing, then backwards but at regular, rewind speed. I'm pretty sure I've deleted it, though. Ah well... Maybe I can find him again.

My ex was telling me about it, I guess it's called "Simlish" or something.

Whatever.

Do try to find that, it would be pretty interesting to hear, lol.

I don't really play it to feel powerful, I just really enjoy hearing peoples life stories it it fun to actually make up a someones life story and play it out. Kinda like playing house only it's for big kids lol. Plus making floor plans is a nice way to get out some creative energy. And actually being able to have someone live in it. SIMS 2 RULES MOFO!!!!!!!!!!! lololol. I tend to have insane spasms, I apologize. Anyways....

^ That's the best way to play the game, especially if you create two families and allow them to communicate.

I like to use the cheat and get loads of money and have two of everything and make the sims so convenient that they get lazy.

one time I tried to recreate my house. did you know they have this one where you can put your own face on a sim? it's weird

Not surprisingly, when you do this, naturally the man of the house tends to grill ALL THE TIME.

This results in many fires...And deaths. Razz

There's only two things I've learned from The Sims 2:

Babies are fireproof and Child Services Representives can walk through walls.

Very Happy

The Sims 2 is certainly a great game. But Sims 3 has started to rule my life. Thing i loved about the Sims 2 is that there was so many expansion packs to get.

I want to play The Sims 3 so bad. I've been reading a blog about two homeless people on TS3 and how the game's free will created a story that's pretty interesting. You can find it here.

Oh yes, there was a TRILLION expansions. Over $200 worth if you decide to buy them all.
